In 2016, Jamie's son Benjamin tragically died as a result of preventable medical error. Since then, Jamie has turned his grief into action and has quickly become a well respected voice in world of Patient Safety. He has participated in panel discussions, taught in medical schools and even spoken at The European Parliament advocating for changes in European law.

He continues to share his families' story to raise awareness about the often hidden issues surrounding accountability and transparency in global healthcare systems. He aims to help save future generations from experiencing the trauma he and his family have endured.
